Internet Data Says...

Akamai shows rankings of Internet users, connection speeds and etc. by countries. The data says that the US has the most Internet users, yet you need to think about it as percentage of population in each country. In terms of percentage, Japan and Korea are just about as same as the US. This fact has to do with this issue and accelerates the development of digital textbooks. Pelican dads?... Catch up in ITC! Hope it's not too late. Good luck with them.

Office Web Apps

Microsoft again... I was a bit behind Microsoft products and terms. Office Web Apps are basically Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote but online-based. You can maeke and store your documents with the Office Web Apps on SkyDrive.

I've used Google Docs but want to try the Web Apps. Google Docs sometimes messes up especially when some people are working on the same app/document at the same time. The Web Apps looks more reliable and stable... oh never mind. More than two people can't edit  a document at the same time on the Web Apps. Here is the resource of the info.

Microsoft Education

I knew Mac had references for educators on Apple in Education. But I didn't know Microsoft had similar ones. Well, they should have educational references but I've never thought about them. Microsoft has too many words and too much information on a page...

PicLits

PicLit from PicLits.comToday's osusume is PicLits. Basically, this allows you to write on pictures. You can have students write a poem, translation, thoughts and feelings. Although pictures are good quality, it's not available in Japanese unfortunately. If you write in Japanese, it comes out like the picture on the left.

Gmail Motion...

Gmail started a new innovative mail called Gmail Motion. Teach your students to write e-mails with body movements.

First of all, you have to remember these actions below.

Google Docs also works with the motions.

It's amazing.

Of course...
